Hugh and Lisa each made each other better. Their support for each other and respect for each other was something that allowed me to do my best work.
The nuance and detail of Hugh and Lisa’s work emotionally crushed me. I was going through my divorce at the time of shooting, and in some ways, I felt my life playing out in front of me—ending something that is best ended.

I have LONG maintained that Lisa Edelstein does the work of you know three or four actresses. That she’s able to combine so many of the..she can be the funny one and the dramatic one and the powerful one and the sexy one and she can do all these thingsshe can um…she has all these cards in her hand.
